Dear Rosalie and Mark.....I can't imagine the pain that you're both going through. Becca was such a special little girl-dog....somehow, the powers that be guided her to us and helped us see just what a little love she was.

I imagine her life before arriving at the shelter was not a happy one....she was so emaciated with rotted teeth. No one held out any hope for her; she barely lifted her little head off the cement floor. When I got her home here, she wouldn't move off the sofa...at first I had to bring her food bowl to her; she was too weak and afraid to walk to it. But when you saw her picture, I believe you somehow recognized her as your own. I know that when I met you both, I had such a strong feeling that Becca was going "home". Please believe that she was given a wonderful gift...you gave her love, probably the only love she'd ever known. In her last years, she became a "puppy", probably for the first time. She learned to play...she actually learned to expect good things....and to get them.

Please keep in this in mind...she died knowing she was so loved, so special. Without you both, this wouldn't have been possible....

My love and prayers are with you both...Please let me know if there's anything I can do........
