Twitter chat with Greenies

September 15, 2013 | Comments Off

I’ve done a product review for GREENIES® before and have found them to be a great company to work with, so I’m more than willing to help them promote their next Twitter chat that will benefit The Oral Care for Service Dogs Program. Please keep reading, as the incentives to participate in this chat are amazing!

The chat will provide an opportunity for pet lovers to ask an expert questions about pet bad breath, why it exists, and how to treat it. This will be a fun way for all of us to engage with others online who love their pets! Dr. Niemiec, the host, will be sharing many resources and content that will help participants to be well-versed on the topic of pet oral health.

Topic:
Help! Why does my pet’s breath stink?

“Good dental hygiene is just as important for pets as it is for humans. Yet, it is one of the most overlooked areas in pet health.” – The American Animal Hospital Association.

And GREENIES® couldn’t agree more! They want to create more awareness and provide a way for pet owners to discuss the main questions when it comes to premium pet oral health. The chat will provide an opportunity for pet parents to hear from a veterinary dentistry expert on how to maintain a healthy mouth for their pets.

Time:
Tuesday, September 17th, 8:00pm – 10:00pm EST

Guest:
Dr. Brook Niemiec, @socalvetdentist

Format:
- 1 hour of Q&A between @GREENIESBrand and @socalvetdentist
- 1 hour of free flow Q&A among participants, @GREENIESBrand and @socalvetdentist

Incentives to participate:
- For every tweet using #greenieschat during the chat, The GREENIES® Brand will donate $1 to the Oral Care for Service Dogs Program.
- For every FB share about the chat, The GREENIES® Brand will donate $50 to the Oral Care for Service Dogs Program.
- For every blog covering the chat, The GREENIES® Brand will donate $100 to the Oral Care for Service Dogs Program.
- The GREENIES® Brand is hoping to raise $20,000 in social media activity to give to the program.

Provided my chronic back pain plays nice, I’ll be attending the chat. Will I see any of you there? If not, how about you blog about it or share it on Facebook yourselves?
