Agnes Felt (on Etsy) product review

I first fell in love with this cat bed/cat cave/cat house the moment I saw its adorable ears. A cat bed with ears? I just instantly died on the spot! How lucky was I then when its creator, Agnes Felt, agreed to send me over one for my furbabies to product review? This felted wool cat bed is dark brown with natural white, eco-friendly, and handmade. There are different ways for the cats to use it: flat with the hole facing down for a cat bed, flat with the hole facing up for a cat cave, and upright for a cat house. Also, while at her Etsy store, I discovered that she also makes felted slippers, scarfs, gloves, bags, coin purses, brooches, flowers, and other home decor items from wool, all out of her home in Lithuania.

Here are several photos of their new cat bed/cat cave/cat house:

And here’s a video where I take a closer look at it:

Here is some information about it from its Etsy shop:

Felting from wool is a very old craft. Products are created seamless using just natural wool, water, and soap. Today colored wool gives a possibility to create colorful, elegant, unique, original felted products. Felted flowers are elegant accessories. Felted slippers are a comfortable and cozy gift. Nuno felted shawls with silk or linen can be worn not just in winter, but in summer, too. Felted mittens, fingerless gloves and felted hats will warm you up in spring, autumn, and winter. With needle felted ornaments you can decorate your home during the holidays. And needle felted monogrammed hearts are a perfect way to communicate love to your friends, Mams or congratulate a newborn baby. And here is a video of Lulu demonstrating just how awesome she thinks it is:

The verdict? It’s really so cute and so well-made. I am in love with the coloring of it as it blends really well with our regular furnishings. FYI – she will make one in whatever color you prefer. What first drew me to this item were its ridiculously charming cat ears. I still can’t get over how well-defined they are; the extra white on them really makes them pop! Even Mark thinks the ears are very adorable! I had to ask for a custom size because her size large is designed to fit cats up to seventeen pounds, and my Sam is bigger than that. Honestly, though, the size I did get doesn’t fit either of my two boys, so I really wish that I had asked for something even larger for them. That being said, as you can see based on the photos, my little Lulu tends to monopolize it anyway; if she isn’t resting on me, then she can be found on that. Also, I am in love with her entire Etsy store, especially her mittens, slippers, and bags! If you end up purchasing any of her adorable items, please let me know what you think!

(Full disclosure – Agnes Felt (on Etsy) provided this item to us free of charge in exchange for a product review. Thanks!)
